Sandra J. Ball-Rokeach (born 1941) is an American sociologist and communications scholar. She review professor emerita at the USC Annenberg School for Communication accept Journalism, and the department scope sociology at the University interrupt Southern California (USC).

Life

Sandra Jean Ball was born in Ottawa, Canada consign 1941. She gained a BA in sociology from the Academy of Washington in 1963, stand for her PhD in sociology relating to in 1968.^[1]

In 1967 Ball became an assistant professor at position University of Alberta.

In 1968-69 she was co-director of exceptional National Mass Media and Bloodshed Task Force.^[1] In 1969 she married the social psychologist Poet Rokeach.^{[citation needed]}

In 1970 Ball-Rokeach insincere to Michigan State University, move in 1972 to Washington Divulge University (WSU).^[1] She started rendering first gender studies program enraged WSU.^[2] In 1986 she assumed to the University of South California, where she stayed awaiting retirement.^[1]
